Managing Partners
Stephen P. Day, RPh, Managing Partner
Stephen is the Managing Partner of Day’s Healthy Living Pharmacy, is a lifelong resident of Tipton County. He graduated in 1974 from Purdue University with a BS in clinical pharmacy, joined Hook’s Drug Stores and worked in Ft. Wayne, Union City, and Elwood before returning to Tipton as the manager of the Carter’s Mall store in 1977. He was transferred to the downtown store in 1981 and stayed with the corporation as it became HSI, Revco and in 1997, CVS. During his career he won 16 “Gold Key” awards for excellence in store management and served 7 times on the Hook’s Merchandising Council. In November of 2001 he opened his first pharmacy, The Medicine Shoppe in Tipton.
Steve has been active in the American Heart Association in Tipton County where he served as an officer numerous times. He was a founding member of the Purdue Alumni Club in Tipton County. He was also active in school parent associations and is a lifelong member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Tipton. He is the father of one son, Jonathan, and father-in-law of Patty, who is also a pharmacist.
Vicki L. Privett, MBA, Managing Partner
Vicki is theManaging Partner of Day’s Healthy Living Pharmacy has the administrative role with this new venture. She is a graduate of Hamilton Heights and still resides in northern Hamilton County. She has prior practice management experience with Indiana Psychiatric Consortium, Indianapolis Medical Management, Hamilton Heart and most recently, The Care Group. Vicki completed her Master of Business Education at the University of Indianapolis in 1994. She also holds a Bachelor degree in Liberal Studies as well as an Associate degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana University. She has numerous professional and community affiliations including the Medical Group Management Association, Noblesville Midday Rotary and Going-To-The-Sun Institute.
Vicki has over 30 years of leadership experience with more than 20 years in healthcare management. She is a trained mediator. Her operational strengths include human resources, finance, marketing, contract negotiations and project leadership. Her personal and care-giving experiences have helped develop a passion for utilizing alternative remedies while problem-solving for enhancing quality of life when faced with chronic disease processes.
